ICT Project-Biodiversity

We reached the half way mile stone in 2015 in the Decade for Biodiversity and Conservation  . 
I and my students (XI and XII )have chosen this as one of the topics for our ICT project.
This is a presentation I used in class room for understanding the basic concepts .

Himalayas are one the 

HOT SPOTS OF BIODIVERSITY

The beauty of nature has compelled me to visit Himalayas again and again.

 2013 floods caused havoc in Uttarakhand and in 2015 the roads to Kedarnath opened again.  

Was it a disaster waiting to happen?

Students Project on Bio Diversity in and around Chennai

Seven student groups of Class XI B visited various places in Chennai to study Ex Situ and In Situ conservation of Bio diversity. 
They also studied the Aftermath of  historic "Chennai floods 2015"
They have taken interviews, photographs, video and put up their presentations.
